Women's Tennis Topped By Navy On Saturday

Annapolis, Md. (February 3, 2018) - The Mountaineer women were topped 6-1 by Navy on Saturday morning.

Navy won the second and third flights of doubles action to take the one point advantage going into singles play. The Mount duo of Alexa Quintanilla and Hannah Davis took the first flight of doubles by defeating Aimee Dervishian and Danika Kahatapitiya 7-6.

Quintanilla topped Brooke Bogdanovich 6-4, 6-3 at the number one singles flight for the Mount's lone point of the match. The Navy women went on to sweep the rest of the singles action to secure the match victory.

The Mount return to action Friday, February 9, when they travel to Howard for a match at noon.
