Towson, Md. (Sept. 17, 2017) - Mount St. Mary's women's tennis clipped by Loyola and St. Joe's 3-2 on the final day of the Towson Tiger Fall Classic.
The Mount grabbed the point advantage from doubles competition with a two set victory from Davis and Smith over M. Devlin and Chontos.
Quintanilla stayed undefeated in singles play this year by winning the number one flight in singles action by defeating Nava in three sets to record the Mount's second point of the match but the Hawks went on to win the next three flights to take control of the match.

Gill-Reid (SJ) def. Emma Blake (MSM) 6-4, 6-0
Quintanilla and Gamble recorded the one point advantage from doubles play by getting the win over Martin and Lanciano in two sets.
Robertson scored the early point for Loyola in the first flight of singles competition defeating Sruthi Kamprath in two sets. Hannah Davis got that point back by defeating Agee in the number two flight but the Greyhounds took the last two flights. Megan Smith and Emma Blake each lost the first set and battled back to win the second set but lost the third tie-breaker set.
