Mount Women's Golf Rounds Out Competition at FDU Knight Invitational

Hamburg, N.J. (September 8, 2019)--The Mount St. Mary's women's golf team rounded out competition today at the FDU Knight Invitational held at the Crystal Springs Country Club.  Michaila Cheung was the Mount's top finisher in the tournament.

Cheung shot a 90 on the second day to post a two-day total of 178 to finish in 32nd place in the tournament.  Olivia Gardenhour (87-97=194), Taylor Woodward (122-121=243) and Sophia Varga (129-126=255) also competed for the Mountainers.

Fairleigh Dickinson captured the team title with a two-day total of 607.  Lehigh was second (630), followed by Wagner (664), Long Island (678), Saint Francis U (679), Monmouth (685), Merrimack (699), Holy Cross (723), LaSalle (804) and Mount St. Mary's (860).

The Mount is back in action on September 23-24 at the Boston College Intercollegiate which will be held at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Mass.
