Women's Golf Sits Fourth At The Red Flash Spring Invitational After The First Round

BLAIRSVILLE, Pa. - Christina Hall (Wall, N.J./Wall) finished ninth after the first round of the Red Flash Spring Invitational on Saturday.

Hall posted a 41 in the first nine holes and then posted a 43 in the back nine to record a round of 84 to finish in ninth place, seven strokes behind the leader.

Megan Corbett (Danbury, Conn./Danbury) (13th place, 87), Autumn Serruta (Avon, Conn./Avon) (13th place, 87), Sarah Roe (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park Memorial) (16th place, 90) and Nicole Fazio (Lower Gwynedd, Pa./Gwynedd Mercy Academy) (22nd place, 93) rounded out the Mount's five competitors.

Youngstown State leads the two-day event with a score of 325, five strokes ahead of Saint Francis (Pa.) (330) while Robert Morris (333), the Mount (348), and Niagara (391) rounded out the field.

Mount St. Mary's returns to action in the final round of the Red Flash Spring Invitational.
