opening tip... Monday's game between Mount St. Mary's and Bryant marks the 7th meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 2008-2009 season.

about the bulldogs... Bryant comes into the contest 9-14 overall and 5-7 in Northeast Conference play after defeating Wagner 71-53 in New York on Saturday.
• Junior F Naana Ankoma-Mensa paced the Bulldogs with 12 points. The junior was 4-20 from the field, including 4-6 from the charity stripe. Babe is averaging 13.9 ppg.  
• Senior G Katie Whittington added 12 points and four rebounds against the Seahwaks.  Whittington was 3-7 from the field in 33 minutes of play.  
• Senior G Danielle Douglas  added 11 points and three steals on Saturday. She went 4-6 from the field and 3-4 from the free throw line against Wagner.  

last time we met...  The Mount won a thriller back on January 19, 86-84 in overtime. Sydney Henderson fueled the Mount with 21 points while Selina Mann added 17 points, seven rebonds and five assists. Kayla Grossett  added 15 points and Tara Lonergan  chipped in 12 points in the winning effort. Naana Ankoma-Mensa paced Bryant with 27 points and 20 rebounds. Jenniqua Bailey recorded 18 points and Douglas had 13 points in the loss.


quick hits on ccsu game.. The Mount defeated  the Blue Devils on Saturday evening in Emmitsburg, 50-48. The Mount took the lead early and never looked back. They used a 14 point performance by Sydney Henderson to hold off the Blue Devils. The Mount had three players with 10 points.
• Redshirt Junior Sydney Henderson paced the Mount with 14 points. Henderson also chipped in two rebounds. The redshirt junior is averaging 13.3 points per game along with 6.0 rebounds on the season.
• Senior  Tara Lonergan added  12 points, along with seven rebounds, in the win against CCSU. The senior also added a block in the contest.
• Sophomore Jacqueline Brewer finished with  13 points,  along with three rebounds in the contest.   
• Mount St. Mary's will continue their four game homestand against St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday.
• The Mount will head on a two game road trip (Fairleigh Dickinson and Monmouth) to end the regular season.
