Lehigh Defeats Men's Tennis 7-0 on Sunday

Bethlehem, Pa. (February 17, 2013)-- The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team lost to Lehigh on Sunday afternoon, 7-0. Lehigh swept all three doubles matches and six singles matches to earn the victory.

In doubles action, Lehigh won all three matches, with senior duo Matthew Blake and Taylor Place taking Mitchell Peterson and Mark Goldberg to a tiebreaker, losing 8-7 (7-5). 

Lehigh won all six singles matches in straight sets to complete the sweep. Freshman Austin Blake took Andrew Krentz to a tiebreaker at the No. 4 spot, losing 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.

The men return to action on February 24. They take on Augustana to kick off their spring break trip. First serve is at 10:00 AM.
