AS A JUNIOR: Place compiled a 10-15 record at the NO. 5 singles spot this season... He also paired with teammate Matthew Blake at the NO. 1 doubles spot, and posted a 13-11 overall record... AS A FRESHMAN: Teamed with Thad Mostowtt for a record-breaking doubles season his freshman year...The duo posted a 19-5 record on the year, setting school marks for wins by a doubles team (19) and dual match wins by a doubles squad (15)...The pair went 15-3 in dual matches on the year...The 19 individual wins also set a school record...Was 14-10 in singles action, including 12-7 at the No. 5 singles spot.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered all four years in tennis at St. Pius X Catholic High School...Helped pace his team to Regional Runner-up in 2008 and won the Regional Title in 2009 placing third in the state with a record of 13-7...Won the Coach's Award as a junior for best sportsmanship...Received Co-MVP Award...Went 16-3 in doubles in his senior year.
