AS A SENIOR:  Closed his career with another solid season playing at the No. 1 singles position...Went 20-8 in singles play, including 14-6 at the No. 1 spot in dual matches, his senior year...Finished his career with a 61-33 mark in singles matches, good for third all-time at the Mount in career singles wins...His 20 singles wins were the sixth-best single-season mark at the Mount...Was also 42-48 in his career in doubles play...Teamed with Taylor Place to go 14-13 in doubles play as a senior...Named NEC Player of the Week on April 9, his third career NEC Player of the Week honor... Member of the NEC Academic Honor Roll... 

AS A JUNIOR: Blake went 13-13 overall in singles action, posting a 3-3 conference mark... He teamed up with Taylor Place to go 13-11 in doubles action, including a 4-1 record in conference play... Matthew is now 41-25 in singles over his three years, and is 28-35 in doubles over that same time.

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Went 11-9 in singles action while playing at NO. 1 singles for the Mount...Was named NEC Player of the Week on October 26 after posting a pair of wins...Was 7-8 in dual matches in singles play...Was 7-11 in doubles for the year, playing at the No. 1 spot with Taylor Place...Is now 28-12 in singles over his first two years at the Mount.

AS A FRESHMAN: Named NEC Player and Rookie of the Week the first week of the season...Finished the year with a 17-3 mark in singles play...Was 15-2 in dual matches, including 14-2 at the No. 6 spot...His 15 dual match wins are tied for the 4th-best single-season mark in MSM history...Went 8-13 in doubles play overall and 6-12 at the No. 1 doubles spot.

HIGH SCHOOL:Played varsity tennis all four years at Salesianum High School...Was a state finalist at #1 singles last year at...Has been the top-ranked player in Delaware in the Middle States rankings the past six years, posting a 48-16 record overall, including a 17-5 mark in 18-year olds...His highest-ever Middle States rankings was #5 in the 12 and under while he was ranked in the top 300 players in the nation in the 12 and under as well...Has participated in the Junior Team Tennis Nationals three times, helping his team earn a sixth-place finish on the year...He has also won 15 tournaments in Scotland over the past four years.
