Scalley Named NEC Player of the Week for the Fourth Time This Season

Mount St. Mary's senior Andrew Scalley (Arnold, Md./Archbishop Splading) has been named the Northast Conference Men's Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week.  It is the fourth time this season that Scalley has earned Player of the Week honors.

The senior attack posted 13 points on seven goals and six assists in a pair of games this past week.  Scalley had six goals and three assists for nine points in the Mount's 14-6 win over Georgetown on Tuesday.  It was the Mount's first win over the Hoyas since 1991, and Scalley became just the third player in school history to reach 200 career points with his nine-point effort in the win.  Scalley added a goal and three assists in the Mount's 14-11 loss to then No. 13 Drexel on Saturday.

Scalley, who has won NEC Player of the Week honors seven times in his career, leads the Mount with 51 points on 25 goals and 26 assists.  He is fourth in the nation with 5.67 points per game and fifth with 2.89 assists per game.

The Mount is back in action on Saturday, March 23, with a 1:00 p.m. game at UMBC.
