Mount St. Mary’s Men’s Basketball Announces Suspensions

Emmitsburg, Md. (November 11, 2011)—Mount St. Mary's head men's basketball coach Robert Burke has announced that senior Lamar Trice and sophomore Kristijan Krajina have been suspended indefinitely from competition for a violation of team rules.

"Lamar and Kristijan each know what they need to do to meet the expectations of being a Mount St. Mary's basketball player," said Burke.  "Once they have done this, they can return to competing in games.  Until then, they will continue to practice with the team, but will not be allowed to play in games."

The Mount opens the 2011-12 season tonight at No. 22 Marquette at 9:00 p.m.  The game will air live on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN), SportsNet (NY) and will also be available on ESPN3.
