FDU comes into the series 2-1 in NEC play with two victories against Wagner in a doubleheader but lost the last game of that series.
The Mountaineers own a 53-38 record in the all-time series with Fairleigh Dickinson, but the Knights hold a 22-19 edge on their home field. Last season, Fairleigh Dickson won three of four games in the series.
