Mount St. Mary's Clipped by St. Bonaventure, 6-5

February 25, 2013--Mount St. Mary's lost to St. Bonaventure, 6-5, on Monday afternoon in the first of a three-game series in Port Charlotte, Fla.  The Bonnies rallied for four runs in the ninth to earn the win.

Zane Bard led the offense with three hits while Tom Healy was 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles.  Jay Knight and Andrew Clow also added two hits each in the loss.

Sam Nott, who was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week earlier today, continued his hot start to the year, belting his fourth home run of the season.  He has driven in at least one run in each of the Mount's six games this year.

On the mound, Chris Campbell started, allowing two runs and three hits in five innings of work.  Michael Locondro pitched three innings of scoreless relief.

The teams play again tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
