EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 13, 2023) – On April 19^th, Mount St. Mary's bowling holds their third annual Strike-a-Thon fundraiser. The event takes place at 4 p.m. on that Wednesday at Sunshine Lanes in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, and will be livestreamed on Facebook.
 
Strike-a-Thon takes place as part of One Mount One Day, which occurs the following day on April 20^th. Donors pledge either a flat amount or set amount per strike (25 cents per strikes) and apply it to the student-athlete of their choosing. The goal for the players is to be the first to get to 100 strikes.
 
One Mount One Day is the biggest single day of giving to the university and is a crucial campaign for the advancement of the institution. More information on this event can be found on the university website.
