Annapolis, Md. (April 13, 2023)--The Mount St. Mary's doubles tandem of Jarrett Karnibad and Filippos Zachiotis tied the Mount's single-season record for wins in the 4-0 loss at Navy on Wednesday afternoon.  The duo improved to 19-5 on the season to match the Mount's record for wins in a season by a doubles pair set by Thad Mostowtt and Taylor Place in 2009-10.

Karnibad and Zachiotis earned a 6-3 win over Navy's Herrick Legaspi and Eric Liu at the No. 3 doubles position.  The Midshipmen, however, took home wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to secure the doubles point.  In singles play, Navy earned wins at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 singles to clinch the match.  The other three matches were not finished.

The Mount is back in action on Thursday with a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup at Marist.
