1. Mount St. Mary's closed out the regular season with a 74-64 win over Wagner on Senior Day at Knott Arena this past Saturday. Byron Ashe paced the Mount with 19 points while Will Miller and Andrew Smeathers added 11 points each. Ashe hit back-to-back three-pointers to give the Mount a 53-43 advantage. From there, the Mount led by double figures the rest of the game.
2. The Mount earned the No. 4 seed in this year's NEC Tournament. The Mountaineers have won the NEC Championship the past two times it has been the No. 4 seed (2008 and 2014), and are 6-1 all-time as the No. 4 seed in the NEC Tournament.
3. The Mount's depth has been a key factor throughout the 2014-15 season. The Mount is seventh in the nation in minutes played by the bench (43.3 percent). The Mount's bench is averaging 43.4 points over the past five games, including a season-high 54 points in the home win over LIU Brooklyn. The Mount has received 30 or more points from the bench in eight of the past 10 games.
4. Mount St. Mary's is 23-14 (.622) all-time in the NEC Tournament. That is the highest win percentage among the 10 teams that currently comprise the conference.
