Mount Update: The men are coming off a 7-0 loss at the hands of Delaware on Tuesday. Delware took all six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches on their way to the win. The match with Monmouth will round out NEC play. The team still has one match, this Wednesday at home against Loyola. Match time is to be determined.
About the Hawks: Monmouth comes into the match with the Mount after a 6-1 loss at the hands of FDU on Wednesday. The lone point came from the No. 4 singles spot, where David Sherwood won, 7-5, 7-6 (6). The Hawks will play three matches in three days, with the match with the Mount ending their season. They will face Hofstra on Friday, and Robert Morris on Saturday.
Last Time We Met: The Mount won 5-2 last year in Emmitsburg. The Mount won two of the three doubles matches to earn the doubles point, and went on to win four of the six singles matches to roll to victory.
All-Time: Monmouth holds a very slim 10-9 advantage over Mount St. Mary's. They won the past six matches before the Mount's win last year. Monmouth also won the very first matchup back in 1989.
