Location: The Sports Information Department is located on the upper level of the ARCC in the Mosmiller Room (Room 213). It is across the hall from the viewing area to the swimming pool.
Media Credentials & Scouting Passes: All requests for working press credentials should be made in writing to Mark Vandergrift, Sports Information Director. Scouting requests must be made in advance and will be honored as space permits. Game day requests will not be honored. Passes not picked up in advance will be available at the media pass gate at the North Entrance of the building.
Services: For men's and women's basketball games, the Mosmiller Room, on the upper level of the ARCC, will be used as the media workroom. Pre-game notes, programs, brochures and other game information will be made available. Box scores will be available to all working media at halftime and complete books following the game. Before the game and at halftime, credentialed media are invited to the Horning Hospitality Suite for food and drink. Data ports, telephones, and AC outlets will be available in the media workroom immediately following the game.
At Waldron Family Stadium and E.T. Straw Family Stadium, game notes, programs, and other game information will be available in the press box.
Radio: Any visiting station wishing to broadcast Mount St. Mary's home games should contact the Mount Sports Information Office at least one week in advance of the game.
Radio lines are available for visiting non-conference radio for a flat fee of $75 per line. Lines must be requested in advance. If additional phone lines are needed, they may be ordered through Jim Shorb, the Mount St. Mary's telecommunications specialist, at (301) 447-5200. Statisticians for visiting radio stations will be provided for a fee upon one week's advanced notice. Requests by radio stations reporting on the game will be honored as space permits.
Television: News stations covering men's and women's basketball games must shoot from the designated camera decks or from designated areas under the baskets.
Telephones: There are three community telephones in the Mosmiller Room for use by the media. These phones are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are no community telephones available on press row.
Interviews: Personal interviews with Mount St. Mary's coaches or players can be arranged by contacting Mark Vandergrift at (301) 447-5384 during normal business hours. Players and coaches are available in person and for phone interviews before practice and by appointment only.
Website: The Mount St. Mary's athletic website, www.mountathletics.com, provides the most up-to-date information on Mount Athletics. It includes information on all of the Mount's 22 NCAA Division I sports.
