2012 Mount St. Mary's Cross Country Schedule

Mount St. Mary's University has announced the 2012 cross country schedule.  The Mount will be in seven meets during the season.

The Mount begins the year at the Lehigh Invitational on Friday, August 31.  This will be the Mount's first appearance at the season-opening meet at Lehigh.  The Mount then heads to Bryant University for the Nassaney Invitational on September 8.  This will be a preview of the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship course.

The Mount will particpate in the Towson Invitational (Sept. 21), the George Mason Invitational (Sept. 29) and the Delaware Blue and Gold Invitational (Oct. 13) to round out the regular season.

This year's NEC Championshps will be hosted by Bryant University on Oct. 27 while the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional will be Nov. 10 at Penn State.

Last season, the Mount men's team finished in third place while the women were eighth at the NEC Championships.
