Mount men's cross country to send three to NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional

The Mount St. Mary's men's cross country team will send three athletes to participate in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted by Maryland-Eastern Shore on Saturday.  Dylan Bernard, Chris Swisko and Jesse Albright will represent the Mount at the meet.

Bernard finished fourth overall to earn All-Northeast Conference honors to pace the Mount to a third-place finish at the NEC Championships.  Bernard finished the 8-kilometer course in a time of 26:40.10 to finish fourth overall.  He is the third Mountaineer to earn All-Northeast Conference honors all four years, joining Tim Kitching (1997-2000) and former teammate Matt Logie (2005-08).

Swisko was 25th overall with a time of 27:50.00 while Albright was 59th in a time of 28:49.80 at the NEC's.

The men's 10-kilometer race begins at 12:00 p.m. on the UMES cross country course.  For more information, click on the official website link above.
