Mount Cross Country Heads to Towson Invitational

TIME: Men's race at 4 p.m. with women's at 4:45 p.m.
PLACE: Oregon Ridge Park, Hunt Valley, Md. 

RESULTS: Results will be available following the race at www.mountathletics.com

THE COMPETITION:   Teams expected to compete are Towson, Coppin State, Morgan State, Loyola, UDC, Norfolk State and Delaware State.

LAST TIME: Senior Dylan Bernard finished fourth overall to place the men's cross country team to a third-place finish at the Monmouth Invitational on Sept. 17.  Bernard finished with a time of 26:39.2 while freshman Tommy Gruschow was the Mount's second-fastest finisher, placing 19th with a mark of 27:31.8.

As for the women, freshman McKenzie Doyle placed 37th overall with a time of 20:01.1. Shortly behind Doyle was junior Megan Kinsella, who finished 39th overall with a time of 20:05.1.

UP NEXT: The Mount returns to action at the Father Bede Invitational in Loretto, Pa. on Saturday October 8.
