Matt Pacheco Named Northeast Conference Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
September 14, 2010--Mount St. Mary's freshman Matt Pacheco (Clarksville, Md./Atholton) was named the Northeast Conference Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week.
Pacheco was the top NEC freshman finisher at the CCSU Invitational held this past weekend. He finished 20th overall with a time of 27:12 for the 8-kilometer course. Pacheco was the Mount's second-fastest finisher, helping the team finish in fifth place.
The Mount returns to action on Saturday at the Navy Invitational.
