Stephanie Joson Named NEC Rookie of the Week
Mount St. Mary's freshman Stephanie Joson (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) has been named the Northeast Conference Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week.
Joson finished in 11th place at the season opening Mount St. Mary's 5K Duals. She finished the 5-kilometer course in a time of 19:53 and was the Mount's second-fastest finisher. She helped lead the Mount to a 4-2 record in the meet to finish in third place.
The Mount returns to action on Saturday, September 11, at the Central Connecticut State Blue Devil Invitational.
