Mount Women’s Swimming & Diving Remains in Eighth Following Day Two of NEC Championships

East Meadow, N.Y. (February 22, 2018) – The Mount St. Mary's women's swimming & diving team remains in eighth place with 77 team points following day two of the Northeast Conference Championships on Thursday night.

RESULTS

Bryant sits in first place in the team standings with 289 points, while Wagner (280 pts.) and reigning champions Central Connecticut (193) round out the top-three.

Colette Robinson notched the Mount's top finish of the night, placing fourth in the 'C' final and 20th overall in the 50 free with a time of 25.35. In the 500 free, Mary Lombardi touched the wall in 5:15.88 to finish fifth in the 'C' final and 21st overall.

To close out the night, the relay squad of Maddie McGraw, Maggie deTar, Lombardi and Robinson posted a seventh-place showing in the 200 free relay in 1:39.18.

The Mount is set for day three of the championships tomorrow (Feb. 23), with prelims set for 10 a.m., and finals heats at 6 p.m. Live action will be streamed for free at NECFrontRow.com.
