Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA All-Academic Award for Third Consecutive Year

Emmitsburg, Md. (December 4, 2012)--The Mount St. Mary's women's soccer team has been honored with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year.

The Mount is one of 570 women's teams in the nation to earn the award after posting a 3.43 team grade-point average in 2011-12.  The Mount has won the award in each of the past three seasons.  The 3.43 grade-point average ranks in the top 50 of all NCAA Division I schools while it is in the top 100 for all Division I, II and III programs.

The Mount finished the 2012 season with a 7-11-1 record.
