Lewisburg, Pa. (September 11, 2012)—Mount St. Mary's saw its two-game win streak snapped with a 2-0 loss at Bucknell on Tuesday night. The Mount falls to 3-3 on the season with the loss.
The Bison (5-3) got on the scoreboard early when Kayla Yee scored on a penalty kick just over three minutes into the game.
The score remained that way until the 77th minute when Bucknell's Taryn Boucher won the ball on a slide tackle and beat Mount goalkeeper Rachel Bourne from 35 yards out.
Bucknell outshot the Mount (3-3), 17-to-7, in the game. Ragan Cote paced the Mount with three shots in the contest.
In goal, Vicky Cocozza started, allowing one goal with one save in the first half. Bourne played the second half, allowing one goal while making two saves.
The Mountaineers return to action on Friday, September 14, with a 7:00 p.m. home game against VMI at Waldron Family Stadium on campus.
