Women's Soccer Set To Hold Spring Mini Camp On March 27

The Mount St. Mary's University women's soccer program will host its inaugural Spring Mini Camp on Sun, Mar. 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The camp will be led by current Mount coaches and players. The fee is $70 for the entire day, and lunch will be included.

The Mount St. Mary's Mini Camp is available for female athletes grades 9-12 and will be a great way for players and the Mount coaches to evaluate and elevate the skill level of the participants. The players will be challenged both mentally and physically throughout the competitive environment. The Mini Camp is a one day training camp that is designed to closely replicate the training environment and competition that the advanced player can expect to find at the collegiate level. The small sided matches are also an outstanding opportunity for players to showcase their abilities within the team framework

Additionally, the camp will prove to be a great way to prepare players for their high school and club seasons. There will also be goalkeeper specific training sessions available at the same time as the field player sessions.

The Mount St. Mary's Spring Mini Camp will include the following instruction: Technical work, positional play, finishing, defending, strength and conditioning sessions, goalkeeper specific training sessions, as well as admission to a exhibition match between the Mount and Shepherd University followed by a campus tour.
