SENIOR DAY
Prior to Sunday's game against Sacred Heart, Mount St. Mary's University will honor seniors Alex Carhart, Sammie Knapp and Kelly Maloney for their contributions to the program and University throughout their tenure at the Mount. The three senior's in this year's class have combined to play in 180 games in their Mount careers.

ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mountaineers host a pair of key conference matchups this weekend as they own a 1-2 NEC mark and sit in a tie for fourth place in the league. The Mount's conference victory came at Saint Francis U (12-9), while they've fallen to Robert Morris (7-6) and Wagner (9-8 OT) by one goal each time.

The Mount attack is averaging 10.0 goals per contest, led by senior Sammie Knapp (27g, 10a) and freshman Carly Miller (14g, 11a). Sophomore Jillian Petito has started all 11 games between the pipes, posting a .441 save percentage and 12.09 goals against average. Petito's .583 save percentage in conference games is tops in the league.

SCOUTING LIU BROOKLYN
The Blackbirds sit at 2-9 overall and are still looking for their first NEC victory as they own a 0-3 league mark. In their first three conference games, LIU has fallen to Bryant (19-7), Central Connecticut (13-12) and Sacred Heart (17-3). Jenn Peters leads the squad with 35 points (27g, 8a), and Virginia Gibbons owns a .344 save percentage and 15.43 goals against average in 11 starts in goal.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Mount is 12-1 in the all-time series with LIU Brooklyn, including a perfect 7-0 at home. Last season the Mountaineers posted a 15-14 victory over the Blackbirds in overtime. Knapp registered three goals and one assist and Maloney added a pair of scores in that contest.

SCOUTING SACRED HEART
The Pioneers currently sit in third place in the league with a 4-8 overall record and 2-1 NEC mark. Their pair of conference wins have come at the hands of Central Connecticut (8-7) and LIU Brooklyn (17-3), while their lone loss was against Bryant (11-5). Caitlin Delaney owns a team-high 37 points (22g, 15a), and Alyssa Pearce (21g, 8a) and Averi Farhat (20g, 5a) have helped pace the attack. Goalie Paige Hammick owns a .401 save percentage and 11.56 goals against average in 12 starts.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Mount St. Mary's owns a 16-6 record all-time against Sacred Heart and is also perfect at home against them with a 10-0 mark. In 2016, Sacred Heart edged the Mount by a 9-8 margin despite four points (2g, 2a) from Maloney.
