Beallsville, Md. (April 8, 2013) -- Two rounds are in the books at the Hoya Invitational with the Mount women's golf team placing 14th with a score of 729 through 36 holes on Monday at The Members Club at Four Streams. 

In the first round, the Mount shot 366 then dropped three strokes as a team for a second round total of 363. 

Amanda Reach fired the best two rounds for the Mount on the day with an 87 (+15) in the first round and an 84 (+12) over the second 18 holes to total 171. Reach is sitting in a three-way tie for 56th place. 

Second among the Mountaineers was Kelsey Hayward, who is tied for 70th overall after her combined total of 180 strokes. Hayward carded an 88 (+16) before a second-round 92 (+20). 

In the final two scoring slots for the Mount, were Nicole Fazio in 75th overall and Abbey Fry in 79th. Fazio dropped four strokes from round one to round two with an opening 95 (+23) followed by a 91 (+19), while Fry put up back-to-back rounds of 96 (+24). 

Campbell, which is in first place with 604 strokes through 36 holes, shot the only team round under 300 on the day with a round one score of 299.  

The competition will finish up tomorrow with a single round.
