PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Marisol Doglioli (Aosta, Italy/Clearwater Central Catholic [Fla.]) finished 58th to lead the Mount St. Mary's women's golf team to a 58th-place standing at the Rutgers Invitational on Saturday.
Dogliloli recorded a 79 in the first round and then posted an 86 in the second round to finish the two-day event with a 165 to finish in 58th place, 19 strokes behind the medalist.
Amanda Reach (Moscow, Pa./North Pocono) (67th place, 167), Kelsey Hayward (Seekonk, Mass./St. Mary's Academy) (95th place, 174), Nicole Fazio (Lower Gwynedd, Pa./Gwynedd Mercy Academy) (107th place, 183) and Sara Fuss (Newtown Square, Pa./Academy of Notre Dame) (111th place, 188) also competed for the Mount.
Seton Hall won the two-day event with a score of 603, seven strokes ahead of the host Scarlet Knights (610) while St. John's (620), Dartmouth (634) and Fairleigh Dickinson (635) rounded out the top five teams in the field. The Mountaineers shot a 339 on the first day and a 350 in the final round to finish with a two-round score of 689 in 19th place.
Mount St. Mary's will conclude the fall slate at the Sacred Heart Fall Invitational on Oct. 20.
