Emmitsburg, Md. (Sept. 17, 2018) – The Mount St. Mary's women's bowling team will host a kickoff fundraiser on September 29 at Sunshine Lanes in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to celebrate the start of its inaugural season, just two weeks before competition begins.
Participants will be able to meet and bowl with the team. The event includes three games of cosmic glow-in-the-dark bowling (shoes included), music, raffle prizes, pizza, drinks for guests 21 and over, and more! The registration fee is $35.00. All proceeds will directly benefit the Mount bowling team as it begins its first season of NCAA competition.
"The amount of support for bowling here at the Mount has been positively overwhelming," said Head Coach Kenneth DeGraaf. "We look forward to having family and friends along with those in both the Mount and local bowling communities in attendance. These ladies have been working hard in preparation for our first tournament, so it will be nice to have a fun night of celebration with those who support our program."

With Sunshine Lanes being a 24-lane center, the fundraiser can take up to 96 participants with four bowlers per lane. The event will last from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with bowling starting at approximately 6 p.m., following registration and announcements.
