Vanessa Blair Camp For Girls Still Scheduled As Planned At The Mount
Despite the recent resignation of head coach Vanessa Blair, the basketball camps for the Vanessa Blair Basketball Camp at Mount St. Mary's University will still go on as scheduled. The Traditional Camp is scheduled for June 24-27 and the Junior Day Camp is slated for July 16-19.

Dr. Harold 'Chappy' Menninger, Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at Mount St. Mary's University, has announced the resignation of women's basketball head coach Vanessa Blair. Blair led the Mount to a 12-17 overall record and a 10-8 mark in the NEC this past season.

Women's Basketball Adds Westbrooks To 2007-08 Recruiting Class
Mount St. Mary's women's basketball head coach Vanessa Blair has announced the signing of Leah Westbrooks (Dublin, Ireland/Holy Faith Secondary School) to a National Letter of Intent. She will enroll at the Mount in the fall of 2007. She becomes the sixth member of the 2007-08 recruiting class.

Season Recap: Women's Basketball Continues To Climb Toward The Top Of The NEC
The Mount St. Mary's women's basketball team is starting to make the climb back up toward the top of the Northeast Conference. In each of the last three seasons, the Mount has increased its league win total and in 2006-07 the squad posted its first winning season in the NEC for the first time in five years.

Two years ago after the loss of three 1,000-point scorers, the Mount won nine games with the core group of players being freshmen and sophomores. Head coach Vanessa Blair hopes that her team will show its maturity and experience, and take a leap to return the program back to its winning tradition.
