Philadelphia, Pa. (April 27, 2018)—Chris Wray finished in 10th place in the high jump to highlight a busy day for the Mount St. Mary's track and field team at the Penn Relays on Friday.
Wray cleared a personal-best 2.04m (6' 8.25") to finish in 10th place in the field of 73 competitors. His mark moves Wray into a tie for ninth on the Mount's all-time list, and is also an IC4A qualifying mark.
Justin Kimble ran the 100m dash for the Mount, finishing 11th with a time of 10.78 seconds. The men's 4x100m relay team of Keiko Martin, Kimble, Andrew Lapreziosa and D.J. Workcuff finished 42nd out of 65 teams with a time of 43.02 seconds. The 4x400m relay team of Brady Altland, Andrew Humm, Dhane Schmelyun and Sean Fahey finished 52nd out of 64 teams with a mark of 3:23.62. The distance medley relay team of Benjamin Finnigan, Brandon Briscoe, Isaac Kole and Will Merritt finished 13th with a time of 10:10.47.
Colin Waitzman participated for the Mount in the pole vault as well on Friday.
