Mount Track Rounds Out Competition at Fred Hardy Invitational

RESULTS

Richmond, Va. (March 25, 2017)--The Mount St. Mary's University men's and women's track and field teams closed out the Fred Hardy Invitational today.

Alexander Devine paced the Mountaineers with a third-place finish in the discus (46.29m) with teammate Chase Boyle finishing in seventh place.  Jonathan Burns added a fifth-place finish in the high jump while Oda Assimaido finished fourth in the 100m dash preliminaries.

For the women's team, Isabel Ross finished fifth in the long jump with Kendi Facey placing seventh in the event.  Jesslyn Manni was seventh in the discus, Mariah McLane seventh in the 400m dash, and Moriah Fitzgerald advanced to the semifinals in the 100m hurdles.

The Mount track teams return to the track on March 31 and April 1 at the VertKlasse Meeting hosted by High Point University.
