The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's indoor track and field teams are back in action on Saturday at the Bucknell Gulden Relays.
The list of schools competing at the Gulden Relays includes Bloomsburg, Bucknell, Duquesne, East Stroudsburg, Howard, the Mount, Shippensburg, Saint Francis U and Delaware (W).
The Mount men were last in action last weekend at the Navy Winter Invitational. Freshman Justin Kimble led the way, finishing in second place in both the 60m and 200m dash with IC4A qualifying times. He earned Northeast Conference Athlete and Rookie of the Week honors for his performance. Christopher Gabor won the heptathlon while Chase Boyle finished second in the weight throw with an IC4A qualifying mark as well.
The Mountaineer women's indoor track and field teamlast competed at the Father Diamond Invitational hosted by George Mason University on Jan. 7. Freshman Chelsea Wright led the way with a first-place finish in the high jump. Natalia Hinton finished second in the long jump and Maddie Kole third in the 1,000m run as well.
Next up for the Mountaineers will be the Penn State National Invitational (Jan. 27-28) and the George Mason Patriot Games (Jan. 27-28).
