Softball Doubleheader Against Howard Cancelled; Mount To Conclude Season Vs. LIU Saturday

EMMITSBURG, Md. – Mount St. Mary's has announced changes to the softball schedule. The Mount's doubleheader at Howard on Thursday has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Mount St. Mary's will host LIU Brooklyn in a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m. The twinbill against the Blackbirds was originally scheduled for Apr. 22, but was postponed due to the weather.

The Mount is coming off a split against Wagner on Sunday. Junior Erin Leddy (Great Mills, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) smacked a walk-off homer in the first game against the Seahawks to give the Mountaineers a 4-3 victory.

Mount St. Mary's (16-33, 7-11 NEC) will conclude the season at home against LIU Brooklyn on Saturday.
