Softball Moves Home Opener Against Quinnipiac To Friday; First Pitch Set At 2 P.M.
EMMITSBURG, Md. – The Mount St. Mary's softball home and Northeast Conference opener against Quinnipiac, originally scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m., has been moved to Friday due to impending weather scheduled to come into the area on Saturday. First pitch for the first game is 2 p.m.
The Mount is coming off a 2-1 loss against Georgetown on Sunday at the UMBC Spring Classic. The Mount has played its first 23 games away from Emmitsburg and will make its 2012 Our Lady of the Meadows Field debut against the Bobcats. The Mount is 6-17 this season.
