Alumni Game Kicks Off Softball's Fall Schedule

EMMITSBURG, Md. – The Mount St. Mary's softball team kicked off its fall schedule with an Alumni Game on Sept. 17. The Mount had over 20 former softball players return for the game.

The Mount continues its fall schedule at Towson on Oct. 1 with a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. The squad then travels to George Washington on Oct. 2 to battle the host Colonials at 12 p.m. and UMBC at 2 p.m.

The Mountaineers will conclude its fall slate with a pair of doubleheaders at the Our Lady of the Meadows Field. Coppin State comes to Emmitsburg for a doubleheader on Oct. 7 starting at 3 p.m. before batting Howard on Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. for a twinbill.

Mount St. Mary's finished 16-30 overall and 5-15 in Northeast Conference play last season.
