ABOUT THE MOUNT
The men's squad finished the 2016-17 season at 6-13 overall and reached the NEC Quarterfinals, where they fell to Fairleigh Dickinson. The Mount is coming off of a very impressive showing at the Bucknell Invitational. Senior Brandon Wortkotter claimed the title at the No. 2 singles flight as the Mountaineers wrapped up competition on Sunday. Mount freshman Parth Sharma registered a pair of victories at the No. 3 flight. Sharma claimed his first collegiate win in round one. The Mount's other two freshmen, Jackson Wood and Evan Hine, also advanced to the second round of their respective flights with their first career victories. Sophomore Jean Armstrong was the other Mountaineer to claim a single win, topping Lafayette's Daniel Kamer at the third flight.
The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team is set to host the Mount Invitational from October 6-8.
