Men’s Tennis Picked 7th in Preseason Poll

The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team was picked to finish in seventh, by the NEC coaches, in the conference this season. The Mount is coming off of two losses this past weekend to both Lehigh and Navy.

2011 conference runner-up Quinnipiac was picked to finish in first, just edging out 2011 semi-finalist FDU. Both FDU and Quinnipiac received four first place votes. Monmouth, another semi-finalist from a year ago, was picked in third and received the other first place vote. Defending champion Sacred Heart was chosen fourth, followed by St. Francis Pa. and Robert Morris who are fifth and sixth respectively. Mount St. Mary's is seventh, followed by St. Francis NY. and Wagner, who round out the list at eighth and ninth.

Mount St. Mary's men's and women's tennis returns to action on February 26, when the take on Concordia as part of their spring break trip.
