The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team lost a pair of matches this past weekend to fall to 7-11 overall and 3-4 vs. NEC opponents. The Mount lost at Fairleigh Dickinson, 7-0, on Saturday before dropping a 7-0 match to Quinnipiac on Sunday.
Against Fairleigh Dickinson, Jeff Lamberton lost at No. 2 singles to Priit Gross, 6-0, 5-7, 10-8, in a hard-fought match while Thad Mostowtt also lost a tough match, falling to Alexander Nace, 1-6, 6-3, 10-7, at No. 3 singles. On Sunday at Quinnipiac, Lamberton had the Mount's best match, falling 6-2, 7-6 to John Hughes at No. 2 singles.
The Mount closes out the regualr season at Loyola with a 3:00 p.m. match on Wednesday.
