Men’s Swimming & Diving Wraps Up Day One of CCSA Championships

Athens, Ga. (February 14, 2018) – The Mount St. Mary's University men's swimming & diving team wrapped up day one of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Championships on Wednesday night from Gabrielson Natatorium on the campus of the University of Georgia.

RESULTS

The Mount's 800 free relay team consisting of Brock Cudahy, Will Twizell, Ryan Carroll and John Wilson highlighted the night for the Mountaineers, posting a fifth-place finish in the event with a time of 7:00.43.

In the 200 medley relay, the Mount's 'B' squad of Ethan Pham, Ian Schirra, Max Blake and Roland Edge clocked in at 1:40.66.

Junior Eiann Bulatao was the Mount's lone competitor in the 1-meter dive, registering a score of 144.95 in the event.

The Mountaineers sit in sixth place with 35 team points following the opening three events. Old Dominion occupies the top spot in the team standings with 134 points.

Day two of the CCSA Championships begin tomorrow (Feb. 15) with prelims starting at 10 a.m., and finals heats set for 6 p.m. Watch the live stream here.
