Vote For The Top Soccer Plays Of The Month; Voting Ends October 12 At 12 p.m.

EMMITSBURG, Md. – Top Plays is back for 2012-13 and for the first time during the soccer season. Both teams have played a month on the soccer pitch and we have selected the Top plays in each of the men's and women's soccer matches at Waldron Family Stadium.

Nominated for the women's soccer Top Play Of The Month are Ragan Cote for her goal against Towson on Aug. 24, Kelly Baker's second tally against Towson, Keriann McGettigan's goal against VMI on Sept. 14, Sam Manson's goal against VMI and Alicia Mirando's first tally against Fairleigh Dickinson on Sept. 28.

On the men's soccer ballot for Top Play of the Month are Patrick Wheeler's goal against Towson on Aug. 28, Mark Plaisance's goal against VMI on Aug. 31 and a pair of Peter Steve saves against UMBC on Sept. 7.

Watch the video below and then vote for your Top Play of the Month. Voting will end on Fri, Oct. 12 at 12 p.m. The play with the most votes on both the men's and women's will garner Top Play of the Month honors for the month of September. The two plays that receive the most votes for men's soccer and women's soccer will also move onto the Top Play Of The Year Award.

The winners will be announced in the afternoon of Oct. 12.
