AS A SOPHOMORE:  Started all 15 games for the Mount at defense...Picked up 16 ground balls and had seven caused turnovers for the year...Had two caused turnovers and two ground balls in 16-7 win over Wagner that clinched NEC Tournament spot...Had career-high five ground balls against Quinnipiac.

AS A FRESHMAN:  Made collegiate debut by starting on defense in the Mount's 22-6 loss at No. 1 Virginia...Played in six games with two starts on the season...Had two ground balls and one caused turnover on the year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in lacrosse at LaSalle College High School... His team was won the Philadelphia Catholic League title all four years of his high school career... Won the Pennsylvania State Title his Sophomore and Junior years... Named First Team All-Philadelphia Catholic League in his senior campaign.

PERSONAL: Parents are Anne and Gregory Pierce...Has two brothers, Gregory Jr. and Dillon...Born June 5, 1991...Currently undecided on a major.
