teeing off... The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team will travel to the Kings Creek Golf Club for two rounds of golf in the Rehoboth Beach Invitational. The first round is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. with the second round beginning that afternoon.
last time at that event… In 2011, Devin O'Grady (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) finished fourth overall to help the Mount to an outstanding second-place finish at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational. O'Grady posted a 71 in the first round and a career-low 69 in the second round to finish with a one-under total of 141, two strokes behind a tie for first place. The Mount's men's team scored a 290 and a 295 in the two rounds, totaling up to a 585 for the second-place finish, thirteen strokes behind first-place Navy.
last time on the green… Tony Aizpun (Barcelona, Spain/Lycee Francais De Barcelone) and Ryan Triller (Street, Md./North Harford) both finished 15th overall to help lead the Mount's men's golf team to a seventh-place finish at the Central Connecticut State Fall Invitational. Junior Aizpun had round scores of 77 and 73 for a two-round total of 150 and also recorded three birdies. Sophomore Triller recorded two 75's for a total of 150 while recording two birdies. The Mount finished seventh overall at the Central Connecticut State Fall Invitational.
