Trailing 25-18 at the half, the Mount (3-13, 0-3 NEC) went on a 15-to-8 run over the first five and a half minutes of the second half to even the score.  Chong Qui scored the Mount's final eight points during the run, capping it with a three-pointer that tied the game at 33-33 with 14:25 left in the second half.  Kasperzyk answered with a three-pointer, and back-to-back triples by Tanner Johnson and Kasperzyk gave Bryant a 42-37 advantage.  Bryant exteded its advantage to 53-41 with 6:31 left on a Townes bucket in the paint.

The Mount rallied, using a 9-to-2 run to cut the deficit to 55-50 with 4:42 left.  Chong Qui scored four points while Habwe added three free throws after gettting fouled on a three-point attempt during the run.  Bryant's Townes scored in the paint to make it 57-50, and Hawkins scored on the fast break after a Mount miss to make it 59-50 with just under two minutes remaining.  From there, the Bulldogs hit 7-of-8 at the line to secure the victory.

Mount St. Mary's shot 40.8 percent from the field and 5-of-24 (.208) from three-point range in the game.  Bryant shot 46.9 percent overall and was 6-of-18 (.333) from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs held a 34-to-31 edge on the boards.

The Mountaineers are back in action on Saturday, January 12, with a 4:00 p.m. matchup at Knott Arena.
