Jonathon Williams fueled the Seahawks (21-4, 12-4 NEC) with 19 points. Latif Rivers added 15 points while Tyler Murray and Chris Martin each chipped in 11 points in the winning effort.
Wagner took the advantage midway through the first half and never looked back to sweep the home and home series against Mount St. Mary's during the NEC's Rivalry Week.
After Julian Norfleet (Virginia Beach, Va./Landstown) gave the Mount a 10-9 lead on a layup with 15:48 left in the first half, the Seahawks scored the next eight points and went on an 18-2 run to take the lead it would not relinquish.
Williams gave Wagner the lead for good on a jumper to start an 8-0 run at 15:33. Martin then nailed a 3-pointer at 14:39. Josh Thompson and Rivers capped the run with jumpers for an 18-10 lead.
Danny Thompson (Springdale, Md./C.H. Flowers) momentarily halted the Seahawks spurt by hitting 1 of 2 at the line at 12:09, but Wagner posted 10 of the next 11 points to take a double-digit advantage and went into the locker room with a 43-28 advantage.
The Seahawks grabbed a 22-point lead with 6:03 remaining in the second half. The Mountaineers went on an 8-2 run to trim the margin to 66-50 after a Holley 3-pointer, but Mount St. Mary's could get no closer the rest of the way.
Norfleet scored six of the Mount's first 10 points and finished the game with nine points. Thompson added seven points.
Mount St. Mary's returns to action on Thursday when the squad starts its final homestand against Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday. Game time is 7 p.m.
