ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs had their game against UMass Lowell cancelled Tuesday due to rain. In the last game that Bryant played, junior Nick Angelini hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth to give the Bryant University baseball team a scintillating 3-2 victory on Sunday afternoon against Wagner College. Angelini's home run not only gave the Black and Gold the victory on Sunday, it won the series against the Seahawks. Bryant now leads Wagner by one game heading into the final three games of the regular season next weekend. Bryant fought out of a 2-0 hole on Sunday, tying the game on a solo home run from freshman Sam Owens (Scituate, R.I.) in the seventh. Junior Craig Lacey (Westfield, Mass.) earned his second victory of the weekend and his fifth of the season as he tossed the final 1 2/3 innings.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH BRYANT
Mount St. Mary's and Bryant have met 35 times in series history with the Bulldogs holding a 32-3 advantage. Bryant holds a 14-2 advantage in Emmitsburg and has won the previous three meetings at E.T. Straw Family Stadium. The Bulldogs and the Mountaineers met earlier this year at Bryant for a three game series where the Bulldogs took the series two games to one.

UP NEXT
If the Mount clinch a spot in the playoffs this weekend, they will travel to Norwich, Connecticut for the first round of the Northeast Conference Baseball Championship on Thursday, May 24.
