Robinson, Jr., enters his sixth season on the Mount’s men’s basketball staff. Promoted to second assistant in 2007, his duties include scouting, recruiting and working with the Mount’s post players.
He came to the Mount after serving as an assistant coach at St. Mary’s College of Maryland from 1999-2002. He also handled film exchange and coordinated the Milan Brown Basketball Camp.
While at St. Mary’s, Robinson handled scouting, recruiting, academic affairs, helped run practices, and was director of the summer camps.
Robinson played for four years at St. Mary’s for former Mount St. Mary’s assistant coach Bob Flynn. He started 42 of 101 career games played and holds the school record for charges taken.
Robinson is no stranger at the Mount as his father, Kevin Robinson, Sr., was the first full-time assistant for legendary Mount coach Jim Phelan.
