Charlottesville, Va. (April 9, 2010)-Tom FitzSimons and Rick Villanova finished in first and second place, respectively, in the pole vault at the Lou Onesty Invitational on Friday.
FitzSimons and Villanova each cleared 4.60m (15' 1") with FitzSimons finishing in first place.
For the women, Madeline Midles was seventh in the hammer throw with a toss of 45.23m (148' 5") while Brandie Trostle was eighth in the javelin.
The meet concludes tomorrow.
